Expertise
Elke focuses on general business law, corporate law and insolvency. Her special expertise in these fields allows her to assist and advise companies, shareholders and directors efficiently and proactively. She also acts as a liquidator and is regularly appointed as a receiver by the Commercial Court of Antwerp.
Education and experience
Elke graduated from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) with a Master of Law and also earned a notary licence. After being part of an Antwerp law firm for five years, she earned a Master of Applied Law from the University of Queensland (AU) and worked as a solicitor at Sajen Legal (Mooloolaba, AU) until 2007. In 2007 she joined the firm Mattijs, Voet & Co in Lier. She has been part of our team since July 2021.
